Le Chamois Whistler

Handy location, close to gondola and a few restaurants. Parking is handy too. Very friendly staff. Comfy bed, spacious condo. We really had a good time.

It's likely the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in, especially for the price. The suite is big, clean, and well appointed. All of the staff so far have been great. If we come back to this area, we'll be staying here for sure.

Great location and very spacious. We stayed in an unit with two bathrooms and a living room for half of what other big chains would charge for a small single bed room. However, our unit (perhaps some others) is due for a renovation and looked like it hasn't been renovated for a while, hence deducting a star.

The Room was soo modern and spacious would highly recommend . It's only voted a 4star because the toilet flooded and we had to wait to get it sorted which added stress to are vacation such a shame when we just got there aswell luckily the service from the hotel was very good and ensured it would be fixed which it eventually was. Another annoying thing was the TV wasn't working properly for using netflix. But overall I really did enjoy myself there I loved the hot tub, pool, how modern the apartment was.

We stayed two nights here as a family of four, with a 5 year old and an 8 month old. Overall a great stay with a few opportunities. Pros: - Location, location, location. Being in the upper village was awesome for us with the kids. All the kids activities and the farmers market right downstairs, several places to grab food within a 5 minute walk, and the main village only a 10 minute walk away. The location made it easy to run upstairs for mid-day naps, change clothes, etc. The accessibility can't be beat. Also there are no bars around here so no need to worry about any late night noise. - We loved that the bedroom was separate from the living room with the entryway in between. This created a quiet environment for our kids to sleep while we could still watch TV and not worry about making too much noise. - King bed in the bedroom was so comfortable! - Bedroom and living room were fairly spacious. The bedroom was big enough for us to have a crib provided by a local baby gear rental company, and we set up a playpen in the living room with no compromise of space. - Pool and hot tub were the perfect size for us and there were only ever up to two other people there at the same time as us. Being on the same floor as the amenities was a big plus. Cons: - The pullout couch in the living room was really uncomfortable to sleep on and very squeaky. Probably could use a new couch or at least a new mattress. - No blackout curtains in the bedroom. This wouldn't have been an issue for us if we were traveling as a couple but for the kids it made nap time and bed time more difficult because the room was so bright. Next time we will order blackout curtains from the local baby gear rental company. We would definitely stay here again!

Conveniently located in the upper village. Near everything, yet quiet. The room was large with kitchen area, TV, DVD player. A nice size jacuzzi with a beautiful view of the mountains. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is larger than most. The outdoor pool and gym area is great.

This was a very convenient place to stay. I did mark it down one star because we had a few issues come up. 1. The pay station for the underground parking was broken. We wasted more than an hour trying to figure out how to pay so we wouldn't get towed. 2. One of the benefits of this hotel is free storage if your skis/ snowboard at Spicy Sports. The hotel does not allow you to bring these items in your room The hotel advertised that they were open from 8:00 am-8:00 pm. We arrived at the hotel at 6:30 pm. Spicy sports was closed and we ended up having to leave our boards in the car and pray everything would still be there the next morning. 3. The hot tub closes at 6:30 pm. I didn't remember seeing this on their website. We weren't able to use it at all the first night. This was a bummer as hot tubbing is nice in the evening. 4. Our room didn't have all of the furniture in the picture on the website. My guess is that it had been switched out at some point but the pictures weren't updated. All in all we had a great trip. I would definitely stay in this area again, not sure I would stay at Le Chamois again though.

Great spot. Seriously great spot. I had a conference at the Fairmont and didn't feel like paying through the nose for a small hotel room. This was amazing, separate bedroom nicely appointed. Good sized living space with more than a kitchenette. It was perfect to relax in and get work done without having to sit on bed. Would for sure recommend to others. Also loved the fact that each of the apartments are individually owned and curated to be unique in nature. Would love to come back here with family to ski.
